Carrying out works near a Fluxys pipeline

At Fluxys, safety is our primary concern. More than half of our 1,000 employees are working to ensure that we build safe facilities and that these are operated safely. When you notify us that you are planning works, you help us to avoid damaging Fluxys pipelines.

Most incidents involving natural gas transmission infrastructure occur when pipelines are damaged by works in the vicinity. For this reason, anyone who is carrying out works near a Fluxys pipeline is legally obliged to notify us. This enables us to provide all the necessary information in time and to visit the site and agree on safety measures before work begins.

You can also let us know if there are works going on near a Fluxys pipeline and you suspect that the rules are not being observed.
